Plague Tags is a public health education website from Sault Area Hospital. We want it to be useful and respectful of your privacy. This page explains, in plain terms, what the site does and does not do with your information.

What we collect

This website does not ask you for any personal information. There are no accounts, logins, or contact forms here, so we do not collect names, email addresses, or any health information through the site.

Cookies

This site does not set cookies for advertising or tracking.

Analytics

We may use a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool (Cloudflare Web Analytics) to count page visits and understand which microbes people read about most. It does not use cookies and does not identify you as an individual. We use it only to improve the project, including reporting on the program's reach.

Fonts and other third-party services

To display its typefaces, the site loads two fonts (Barlow Condensed and Inter) from Google Fonts. When your browser requests them, Google may receive your IP address as part of that request. We do not send any other information to Google.

Your health information

Plague Tags is an education project. It is not a place to share personal or medical details, and it is not a substitute for advice from a healthcare professional. For anything about your own care or health records, please contact Sault Area Hospital directly.
